Bonjour, I have been a conference interpreter for German and French since 2021 and have already been able to gain experience of a wide range of assignment scenarios and topics in my first few years on the job: from providing simultaneous interpreting in the booth at Franco-German or international conferences in politics, to liaison interpreting in the manufacturing industry with a focus on the food industry, to consecutive interpreting at Franco-German receptions - or even on a garlic field.

Every assignment comes with new topics, insights and people. Never knowing exactly what to expect beforehand and always having to adapt to unknown situations is what makes interpreting so exciting for me. Despite the hectic nature of the job, keeping calm and sounding relaxed is a strength that I can always rely on.

In order to keep it that way, I practice yoga for inner peace and mental flexibility and play volleyball, where things can get hectic and the whole team has to constantly adapt to new match situations.
